Have Family, Will Travel...slowly
Happy holidays everyone! We just recently returned home from our trip to Indianapolis to visit Danny's family for a really yummy turkey day:) Seriously...Laura made a crazy good meal and of course Kim and Jeff had an awesomely dairy filled app spread (which I can finally eat again!!!) We had to split the 8 hour trip into 2 days both ways...oh, the bathroom stops and baby who doesn't like to sit still very long. It definitely took the pressure off and kept us sane (i think). Anyhow, being up in scullyland is so much fun for the kids because there are almost a million of them! Once we land, we pretty much don't see kyla and logan until we leave. They turn into very self sufficient non-parent needing kids. They love it! Elliot had a blast being her party animal self and charming the pants off anyone who came in the room:) Laura and her family were super gracious in letting us invade their lovely home and turn it upside down for probably longer than they would like...so thank you thank you thank you! It was great to hang out with JoAnn (grandma Jo) who looks as luminous as ever. We also were able to hang out with Jenna and her husband Luke and their newest addition to the scully clan p Tyler. He is so big and such a good baby! Jenna is also such a natural mom and so great to be around. All those scully people are great...I know where my little girl gets her beauty and strength from. Of course, Elliot didn't sleep well which made me, yet again, not the most enjoyable person to be around...someday this too, will be different...right??? She is now full on walking and jabbering away. It's like we didn't sleep and woke up and she was all grown up. She is all day long hilarious. She very much reminds us of Logan with her sense of humor. She also has discovered dancing...best thing I think I have ever seen! I wish I could figure out how to post video because I have some of the sweetest and funniest video of her and her daddy dancing together. I can try to give a visual by saying that she starts out when she hears a song that she likes and throws her hands in the air and bounces them up and down in a hip hop way and then her next move is swinging her arms side to side...loves it! Thats my girl! Kyla is basically as tall as me now...one year and she has grown like 6 inches...not exaggerating! She is such a huge help and great big sis/daughter/stepdaughter. Did I mention that kids only text message people? No talking, just texting...ALL DAY! Straight A's, beautiful, and lots of fun to hang out with...feels like I am bragging but I just can't say enough about these kids...oops...Logan: 6 year old boy who loves his sisters, kung fu, all sports - but football (poor Danny...he isn't giving up)- super funny and witty. He has just started practice for his basketball team which now he is the youngest in the group so it will be challenging. We are eagerly anticipating the arrival of my bro Ryan, his wife Beth and baby girl Rayn next week. We are going to go to Charlotte to see a broncos game and my amazing friend Melissa. I love it so much when people come here because i can't seem to get myself and elliot on a plane yet. I miss my sis and her boy Braven but my first plane trip will be to see them in Phoenix. Ps...there is a lack of pix of kyla and logan which only proves that they were having kid fun!

and the holidays begin!!
hello everyone! Our blogs seem to be getting further and further apart...sorry! Life is very fun and VERY FULL! We had a blast in october with - not only the kids- but my first ever real pumpkin patch out in the mountains with real apple orchards and real farm animals and a corn maze that pretty much made the trip worthwhile:) We spent a lot of time picking out the perfect pumpkins that still sit on our front deck UNCARCARVED!!! Oh well...next year...who wants to give kids knives anyway?:) The unfortunate part of our blended family is that we have to share holidays and this year the kids were with thier mom for halloween so I don't have any pictures yet of them to show, but kyla was a genie(gigi made the beautiful costume) and Logan was a ninja. Elliot was a ridiculously cute duck/chicken. We got together with friends of ours Brooke and Chris Amys with their adorable almost 7 month old baby girl who is the lady bug. We went to our neighborhood halloween bash...literally the most festive halloween scene I have ever been a part of. The other side of the lake has amazing very old and historic homes that just go all out. people everywhere. Needless to say, we were there for all of 45 minutes and left to head off any baby meltdowns. Next year we hope to make it a full hour:)
On the downside, Danny has broken yet another bone....arrgghh...he managed to tear ligaments and fracture his left ankle while trying to be superman. He tries so hard to be everywhere at the same time and ends up in situations like this. He was playing volleyball in the yard with kyla and fell over...i mean...a great big bear came out of the woods and he saved us all:) anyhow, he is doing great and his spirits are good (could it be the vicodin?) He is in a walking boot and he is really truly being such a trooper. Poor guy.
we are looking forward to going to Indianapolis this turkey day and spending it with Danny's whole family. Quick but much needed getaway.
Elliot is still not walking but so close. Her personality has just exploded in the last few weeks. She reminds us a lot of Logan. Very funny and outgoing. I keep pointing things out to Danny that she does and saying "isn't she a genious?" and he keeps giving me the look of like "of course - what baby could possibly do that?" But seriously...i think she is a genious. She totally knows how to throw and bounce a ball, and it is isn't like she does that with everything...just a ball. Genious. She is ridiculously tall that just today I had to put her crib on the lowest level. Oh and the biggest news...she just got her big girl car seat!!! It is the cutest thing and yes, i cried. Danny just looked at me and said, "you're a mom and here come the mom moments" I thought to myself, if I am crying because she is facing forward in the car...how am I going to make it through the REAL milestones...poor girl is going to have a mother that is sobbing in the corner of every big event. I promise to dress well and stay current with pop music so I can try to be cool.
Until next month...big love to you all!

You win some, you lose some...
Hello all! We have come up for some air after a LONG month of getting 4 teeth! We slept about an hour at a time and who knows what else happened...very blurry. Elliot now has two bottom and two top teeth that you cannot miss when she cheeses her big ol' happy smile:) Meanwhile, Logan has gone and lost his bottom two teeth! The first time I saw him without his tooth I thought he must have hurt himself...is he really old enough to be losing teeth already???? It is so cute, I can't even stand it! Kyla is of course in process of straightening her teeth with some beautifully colored braces:) Might I add that she is an amazing volleyball player...like that should be a surprise;) We are of course busy with the businesses and the same old stuff as normal. Tomorrow , marking Elliot's 9th month with us, she is starting some nanny time. I tried very hard to do it all and do it gracefully, which I haved failed miserably...:( So, we decided it was time for some help and we have added a nanny, Jill, to our household a couple of days a week. She seems really lovely and has great experience not to mention an immediate affinity for our baby girl (i mean, can you blame her:) So, now that Elliot is crawling, and I mean fast, and standing and trying really hard to think about walking and bumpers and rubber corners and outlet covers - she seems to just be getting older faster than we like to realize. Again, when they say it goes so fast, they aren't kidding. Though, I must admit, this is probably my favorite age so far.
Ok...so now it is about a week later and Elliot has decided to get ANOTHER tooth...apparently she is going to fill her mouth with teeth whether I like it or not:) This one is next to her top tooth and she is handling it better than the first ones, but she still really doesn't like it. I am also posting some really cute pictures of my family that some of you might sit back and wonder ...how can she let this happen (colts gear) but I was not home when it happened and if you notice, she has on orange pants for GO BRONCOS!! I am letting my husband think that she is a fan of both, but we all know who wins - MAMA WINS!! Anyhow , my family is ridiculously cute no matter what stupid team gear they might have on!
P.S. Elliot is standing for extended periods of time ... walking is so soon...aaahhhhh

Long time - No Blog...
life has been so busy, not to mention my 2 week obsession with facebook, but i am finally getting around to catching you all up on the Scully Fam. First and foremost - Kyla is officially a TEENAGER! She has grown about 6 inches in the last year and become such a wonderful young lady. She is having her bday party in the courtyard at Scully's this weekend with a freaky freaky DJ (as Kyla puts it). We are all very excited! Logan has started first grade and turned 6! He is so smart and already reading! It just blows my mind how fast they learn. Elliot is now 8 whole months old! That really blows my mind. I am finding myself already needing to let her grow up and eat new foods and unbind her chubby legs to she can start trying to walk:) Her 7th month was full of firsts! She got her first tooth, she said her first word which, of course, was Da Da. This goes for Daddy, doggy, and ducky. I say mama and she says dada back to me...seriously...so not fair:) She also stood up without assistance and stood there for about 2 1/2 seconds with our mouths left hanging open. Not ready for that. she has just started to cuddle me with her arms, legs and head and now she is going to learn to walk and never want to be held again. We took a very small break out at the
beach which was so needed. The kids surfed/boogie boarded and Elliot ate sand. It was awesome! Beach for me is a lot different than it used to be, but it was just lovely to see it, hear it, and smell it for the first time in a year!
I want to send a big shout out to my cousin Kieran who was married at the end of august! We so wanted to be there but I had scheduled a catering for some random persons wedding before I knew Kieran was getting married so I am looking forward to all pictures that might make it my way:)Now with Danny having a bum finger (broke and dislocated), we have added another fun challenge to work and other fun to-do lists. Poor Danny...he has 4 more weeks of basically not using his right hand for much. Elliot is still waking up 2 times a night which is really fun! That makes almost 3 months of sleeping in 3-4 hour shifts at best. some days its not so bad and other days sleep deprivation is not good for the soul or for anyone around you:). With all of that said, I just can't seem to let her "cry it out". Listening to her cry makes my insides turn upside down. it is just much easier to make her stop crying and just go back to sleep. Some day I will do it, and I will promise to blog all about it and I am sure - like everyone else- wonder why it took me so long to do it. The weather is changing and football has started GO BRONCOS - so sorry Colts:) I am going to relax and go to bed and snuggle my crippled husband.

2 years and a million more to go
Danny and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary yesterday! It seems like our wedding was just yesterday, but like we've been together all our lives. We went out to dinner (early bird special of course) which was so nice since we never really get to do that anymore...since Elliot has arrived. She pretty much controls my every move once the clock turns 8:00 p.m. We look forward to the day that she doesn't need me to put her to sleep. I know when that day arrives, I will have some grieving to do because as much as I want her to be independent, I just love those moments with her - I will be ok without having them every 3 to 4 hours through the night. Once again, GG to the rescue and she took care of the kids, helped them with their school projects and i'm sure pumped them full of sugar the entire time!
The kids are back in the swing of school. Kyla made the volleyball team!! We are really excited for her. Her dad had her out on the sand volleyball "courts?" practicing in the brutal sun while Logan rode his bike and Elliot enjoyed a ride in her jogger! Anyhow...all her efforts paid off and our little soccer star is now a volleyball star as well!
Miss Elliot has been a busy little girl. She is so close to standing on her own, it scares me! She is also saying mamamama and other blabberings. I think it is safe to say that she inherited her dad's super social charming skills - which is a good thing coming from someone who was just painfully shy growing up. The only drawback at this point is that she is not only loud when she talks but she is SO loud when she's mad. She has been a good eater. She loves sweet potatoes and carrots. She hasn't really taken to the fruits - she makes a sour face. She also really didn't care for peas or green beans.
Danny's mom is also healing well from her surgeries and we are assuming she'll be fine in no time!
Oh, did I mention, GO BRONCOS!

7 months later!
nothing like a little flash in your eyes! this is a picture of us on her 7 month bday. We have been hanging out all on our lonesome (except for her super GG, who has been so helpful) Danny has been up in Indy by his mom's side while she prepares for yet another surgery. He is an amazing son, father, and husband! So many pictures and milestones and I can't figure out how to download the pictures from the good camera, so you are all subject to my now famous "take a picture of myself" shot! Elliot is so much fun right now. She is such a smart and wise little girl with a great sense of humor. There is nothing delicate and quiet about our little bundle. Sh e is just ready! She now loves the water and bath, eats some great foods (stand by for the pictures) she is so happy all day! The real fun began about a month ago when she decided to stop sleeping through the night and sleep in about 3 hour shifts on the good nights...ugh! She wasn't this bad when we brought her home from the hospital. I have started to get used to it and every day I check for that little tooth that we are blaming our sleepness night on...no toofy yet! The Big Kids are gearing up for their first day back at school this thursday. Kyla will rule the school as an 8th grader and Logan has his first big kid day of 1st grade! We lok at them and it is just proof as to how fast they grow up! Kyla is almost as tall as me now...which in this picture that my mom took, you can tell how long she is! Logan is just as sweet and sensitive but ready to wrestle at any moment! We miss them terribly when they aren't here! Elliot just LOVES her brother and sister...so we sit and wait for the kids and daddy/BFF to return to us!

Elliot and Rayn:)
we were so lucky to have my brother Ryan, his wife Beth, and the most exciting (no offense) their beautiful little baby girl! I have to say, though I may be biased, but us Parker kids have done a good job of popping out some really cute kids! Rayn and Elliot seem to be complete and total opposites! While Elliot is very loud, in your face, way active, and off the charts huge - Rayn is delicate, super sweet, actually coos and has the cutest little squeal, is just a little peanut. We had such a great time with them here. It was a very short visit but I am sure they ran from our chaotic house screaming! About every other sentence was "Paige and Danny, I don't know how you do it" we just shrug and wonder the same thing! Elliot solidified her status as a Scully by staying awake until at least midnight every night. I wasn't sure what was going on but the day everyone left, she went right back to her regular bedtime...party animal! Kyla and Logan seem to really like my relatives which is awesome! they even asked to stay at our house an extra day to spend more time with them and my grandma! I love my little niece! She is so cute and perfect. Beth looked like her fantastic self, fully recovered from being prego...at least physically:) All you mothers know that the mental part might never quite come back. We were able to have a nice little early surprise bday party for our mom and she was just in heaven having almost all of her grandchildren within arms reach! Braven and TK we love you too!! Speaking of...Happy 4th Birthday Braven! You are getting so big! I hope your swim party is awesome! Until next blog...coming very soon because Elliot keeps doing new things - i have to play catch up!

so much, so little time!
GREAT BIG LOVE TO THE SCULLY FAMILY!
Well...we are just a few days shy of 6 months old and our little girl is just getting so big so fast! She is sitting up by herself...as long as she doesn't decide to move anywhere, and she is rolling all over the place! She is sleeping through the night on a pretty regular basis (so great) and pretty much wants to get her hands on everything!!! She is still looking like she is going to be a redhead, though her hair hasn't really changed since she arrived. Her great big beautiful eyes are looking like they are going to be a green or brown of some sort...still a pretty non-descript color. She is so big and long...we go back to the doc next week where I am sure he will tell us she is off the charts:) We were lucky to be surprised by my uncle Bobby and aunt Susan on their way back home after dropping off their daughter in Conn where she was preparing to head to China!! It was so fantastic to see them after so long. they both looked and
seemed fabulous! Makes me wish that our family wasn't so spread out around the country. Danny is lucky to have all of his family in one place and can see them all when we visit. Kyla and Logan are growing at a rapid rate too! Logan spends his time doing it all...he is an amazing artist, collector, explorer, son, and brother! Kyla has been such a dream! She is a young lady now that is smart, articulate, thoughtful, loves to sleep in, a HUGE help with her siblings, really loves the computer and text messaging. We are so blessed with these children who are the most thoughtful human beings I have ever encountered.

Danny is now with his family in indiana helping take care of his mom and dad. his Mom, JoAnn, is a tiger. She has had to endure some medical procedures that have been pretty tough, yet she is so strong and recovering so well, like we knew she would. Danny's dad is also dealing with some complications. Our hearts are with them as they fight through this. Danny's niece, Jenna and her husband Luke, are about to have their little boy at any moment, so we can't wait to hear about the most amazing, happiest, and life changing moment of their lives!
this last picture was so classic, I had to put it up. It shows our kids in a nutshell! Sending great big hugs to you all!

It's Officially Summertime!!
With the graduation of Logan from kindergarten and Kyla from 7th grade it marked the beginning of the summer 2008! We have put the kids on payroll (i know its illegal, but we pay them under the table:) They are awesome helping their dad out making smoothies and ringing people up! It really only goes on for as long as their attention span will allow - so you do the math:) But they love being involved and a little earning of their own money and seeing just how hard their family works can't hurt! When we unchain them from the business, we let them out to see the sun for a few minutes so no one will know that we are engaging in what some might call a family business, others might call child slave labor (for those of you out there with no sense of humor...I am totally joking...sort of. We took the kids to the pool for the first time and I was so excited to put Elliot in her new floaty thing and watch her love every minute of it...not so much. Water was a bit too cold and maybe just a little bit scary. But she looked darn cute hanging out at the pool with her mama! Poor little girl is so white, she glows! She is going to look forward to a life of massive sun block and umbrellas - unlike her older sister who was blessed with some native american skin. I am excited for her to get accustomed to the pool and then take on the ocean! She is loving the rice cereal that she has been eating and cannot wait to devour whatever anyone has on their plate! Like mama, like daughter. We are holding off on giving her anything else until she is six months...she is counting the days! We would also like to take a minute and send some big love to her grandma Jo (her namesake). We are all looking forward to visiting her and the other Scullys later this summer! Also want to send a shout out to all of our June bdays! Happy Birthday to my brother Ryan, Danny's Brother Mike, Danny's sisters Kelly and Laura, and my good friend Mary!

Holy 5 months old
Can you believe it? Our baby girl is 5 months old! She is growing and learning in leaps and bounds these days! She started eating some rice cereal last week which was so freaking cute! She was a pro instantaneously. I am pretty sure that every last drop went in her mouth. She is also so close to sitting up on her own. She thinks that her dad is super funny and pretty much looks at me like I am crazy when I try to make her laugh...whats up...I am hilarious! She is great at making smoothies with me while in her bjorn and grabs at anything she shouldn't have that might be in her reach. All in all, she is more and more amazing each day! She is sleeping through the night on a regular basis with a few exceptions here and there. If she happens to fall asleep before 9pm she will always wake up and say hi to make sure that she doesn't break up her routine of going to bed between 9 and 10pm... As for the first two cuties, Kyla and Logan, they are doing great and enjoying the beginning of their summer vacation! Logan decided that he wanted his hair "all gone" so he now has a very short hair cut:) Kyla went to the beach with some of her friends and had a fabulous time and came back nice and rosy. As for summer plans...I am pretty sure that it will consist of lots of work being that it is the busiest time for both businesses - parties, weddings, and any other reason that Asheville can close off the streets for festivals. Here's to hoping the heat wave ends soon!!!

Happy Mothers Day to us all!
Well...My sister and my nephew Braven came out for a visit and it was spectacular! Not only did me and my sis get along famously - but we got along famously:) She is a really good mom and has great pointers for me. She was able to get Elliot to take a pacifier which was previously impossible. She hasn't really been that into it since but she is into whatever is in my hands at the moment. She has already started the crying when she drops her toy/remote control (is that bad?) then I have to give it back to her when she really has a hard time holding anything longer than 5 seconds...uh oh...could be long days of toy retrieval:) Braven is amazingly smart - scary smart! He is 3 going on 4 in July but already knows way too much for his age! We went for a great hike/walk uphill (uhg) but it was beautiful and Braven was looking for butterflies and loved to make wishes on the fluffy white things that you blow -Dandelions? Amazing the things that I am unsure of these days.
Danny has been training for the upcoming 5k (which I will be walking/jogging in my new jogger with Elliot) all ready to set the new world record. He is still of course working his little butt off and playing super dad by day and night. Beans and Berries is really starting to take off which is great to see with all of the hard work and love that goes into it. Scully's is holding steady gearing up for the summer with a new front patio - it's going to be awesome! Kyla is done with soccer for school and is now putting all of her concentration on text messaging and looking adorable at all times:) Both her and Logan are growing like freakin weeds and everyday proving that they could actually be smarter than the both of us put together! What else...um...the dogs are both doing fantastic now that the weather is better and they can play outside all day. We are still uncertain if we are going to expand our house or move all together. Like we need another project but for real, it is getting pretty squishy in our house with the growing amount of baby paraphenalia. Until next time...love from us!

Elliot loves her Grandpop
So many pictures...so little space!
Finally, Elliot and her grandpop have met! He has been so amazing with her - really, everything I could have dreamed of. I have captured some perfect picture moments of her with her Gigi and her Grandpop. I am not sure what the others (by that I mean, my bro and sis) are trying to call him, but grandpop comes out of my mouth very easily and that might be because that is what I called my mom's dad when he was alive. Very good memories of him...I know he would be proud as to how his children and grandchildren have turned out:) Anyhow - my dad is just so great with Elliot. I think he even gets disappointed when someone else is holding her. He has almost taken it over as though she were his and giving great pointers and stories of how it was when me and my sibs were growing up. We are having a great time! Just wanted to post some of the wonderful pictures of them and us! My little girl is so lucky to have so many people to love her! Did I mention how awesome my mom has been? She is just so fun with Elliot! Takes me back a little...between me and my mom - the poor little girl:) We go back to the doctor this week and I am sure he is going to tell me that she is the biggest and strongest baby on the earth! My guess is 15-16 lbs and 27 inches long...hang on to your seats...PS...she is going to be 4 months on Friday...holy time flying!

Elliot and Taylor hanging out at Beans and Berries
Walk it off!
Well...the first day of our mommy and baby stroller club went really well even though if it was freezing!!! LeAnn and Rell, Brooke and Taylor, and Elliot and I went for a great walk to hopefully get us in a routine to be able to do it at least twice a week. I can't wait to walk off the extra butt that I acquired during pregnancy:) The babies were so good and brave while their little faces probably were freezing off to make their mommies happy. Happy mommy=happy baby? Oh wait, happy baby=happy mommy...ok...probably both.
Anyhow, it was fun and refreshing. I thought about doing an ass shrinkage chronicle like the "growing belly" chronicle - but I suppose I will spare you all! I will just write about it as I am sure you will all be on the edge of your seat:)

Baby Amys, G-ma visits, Kyla scores, and Someone has a bday!!!
What an amazing week! Kyla scored her first goal for her school soccer team! Unfortunately they lost in double overtime but Kyla scored the only goal for her team!! Daddy is so proud! Baby Amys has arrived...early like only Brooke would have it! Her name is Taylor Elizabeth Amys (we have an affinity to the name Taylre in our Parker family:) What I think is fun is that my sisters name is Taylre and Brooke's sister's name is Elizabeth (Libba) and they share the same birthday (one year apart)...anyhoo...Taylor Amys is gorgeous!! Brooke and Chris deserve some sort of lovely dessert for going through a very long 21 hour labor- so strong! Taylor is tiny and delicate and so sweetly new! I wasn't able to hold her yet because my baby Elliot and I are germ carriers at the moment but we stopped by to spread some Beans and Berries smoothie love and take some great pictures. Boy does Elliot look huge compared. It has only been 3 months since we were in the same hospital going through the same adjustment and it is amazing how fast they grow and change. We are so looking forward to many playdates to come! I also want to take a moment and apologize to my friend Chele who I told (with all of my motherly wisdom) that there was no way that Brooke would go into labor while she was away showing off how smart she is at a conference in Maryland! Really Chele...you might want to look into your priorities...don't you think you are smart enough:) hahahaha! Taylor didn't listen very well to you about this, imagine how it will be to babysit her...putting dead fish heads in your purse maybe???? Where in the world would she learn something like that?
Another amazing moment this week was my Grandma Rayn or G-ma or Gigigigi -drove 4 hours from her home in atlanta to see Elliot, Kyla, and Logan. Logan and g-ma are fast friends...so cute! She looks beautiful as usual and I am so grateful for her making the trip. Can't wait to spend more time together. We took a 4 generation picture together which is so fun. My sister Taylre and her son Braven are headed out here for mothers day weekend! So excited!!! Now all I need is to get my dad to come visit...hint hint...I will give Ryan and Beth a break since they might be busy learning how to raise their own beautiful daughter...but that excuse will only last for so long. I suppose we could get on a plane to see them but from what I understand Rayn is a much calmer baby - by that I mean she doesn't cry nearly as much as my Elliot...so it only makes sense that they take the what could be torturous plane ride across the country:) So for now we trade pictures and skype each other (need to do it again soon).
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BETH PARKER - APRIL 12!! WE LOVE YOU!!!

First Family Truckster Trip!
Ok...we made it to Indy and back in one piece...phew! We packed up the big car and headed up north to visit with all of the Scullys for the Easter holiday. Laura and the Schmidt family were extremely gracious taking all of us in for 5 days. We had fun going on the tour of grass mowing from Danny's younger years and seeing my old house I lived in for a while. Strange how so much changes and then some things don't change at all. We also visited the childrens museum which sure seemed a lot bigger when I was smaller:) Grandma Jo was as beautiful as ever and is getting stronger every day. Elliot was a dream the way up but once we got there she didn't seem to want to be anywhere but in her mama's arms. Kyla and Logan had a blast playing with their cousins and wished we could have stayed longer but due to mom's exhaustion and dad's bum back...we packed up and headed back home. Like all trips home, this ride was a little more trying than the way up. But we made it home and let the kids party and eat more junk for a couple of days to round out their spring break. Elliot had a rough couple of days when we got back and I am blaming the stop at Skyline Chili in Cincinatti...eewww...But now she has gotten in her groove and seems to have turned yet another corner in her short 11 weeks she has graced us with. I get so excited when I think about all of the changes that will be happening so soon. She is smiling like crazy and squeals with what I like to think is delight. No laughing yet, but I am sure she thinks I am hilarious. It might be a fluke...i am not getting to excited...but she has slept through the night completely the last couple of nights...much needed rest for us all! My friend Brooke is due to have her baby girl in a couple of weeks and we are looking forward to adding another friend to Elliot's posse! Keeping Brooke and her family and all of our loved one in our thoughts we sign off until the next moment I have two hands to type!

So thankful!
We want to take a minute and thank all of our friends and family for all of their help before and especially after Elliot was born! I don't think we would have made it through those first few weeks without it. All of the food, clothes, love, and support is amazing. We are getting more and more use to each other everyday. Sue and her mom Marti came to visit last weekend and that was awesome. So good to see you both! We hope to see more of you soon! Wishing sunshine and warm weather!

BIG NEWS!!
Well...we have some great news! Kyla has been selected to play for her middle school soccer team!!! Only 20 people were picked from her whole school! We will continue to put up some pictures of her in her uniform and on the field. She is also in a little bit of pain because she has gotten her braces put on:( Only Kyla could still look as beautiful as she did before, right? Logan is busy growing up so fast and starting to read and write. He helps his dad at work and can clean like nobody's business:) He will also start playing soccer this spring. Elliot is super busy growing and becoming more aware everyday. She is a very demanding little girl and has no problem letting us know if she is unhappy. She is now smiling at us which is an amazing sight! At this point, Danny and I are just trying to keep up with these kids:) Until next time...big hugs to you all

Busy Little Bees!
The Scully family is now 5! We welcomed our little girl, Elliot JoAnn Scully, January 9, 2008! She was born rather quickly (thank goodness) at a healthy 8 lbs 7 oz and 22 inches long!!! Kyla and Logan have been the cutest and so helpful! Elliot is growing fast and has no problem speaking her mind.
We have also opened our second business, Beans and Berries, which is a coffee/smoothie shop. It is going great and shows signs of only getting better. Our restaurant/bar, Scully's, is also doing great and we have an amazing staff that has really picked up the slack while we are working on our new projects. Needless to say, we have our hands VERY full! Danny has been a super little worker bee while Elliot and I learn how to hang out together. We have no immediate plans right now other than to settle into our new routines. We will keep you all posted and update pictures often!
